Using Wheel Spacers/adaptors

I've been using 25mm bolt on wheel adaptors for about a year now. Had to buy them bcos the wheels I bought did not clear the front calipers

Anyway I've noticed my steering wheel vibrates quite badly on high speeds. Balancing has been done yet this problem still occurs. Was wondering if anyone else uses spacers or adaptors and what are your experiences. Also any comments on whether they're good or bad?

generally wheel spacers provide better turn in coz of the wider track stance....im not sure as to whether they could be responsible for ur wheel shacking at high speeds, that could be a totally new problem. Was it vibrating once they were installed or its just recent?

you might need another little spacer that fits inbetween the wheel and the spacer you bought so that the rim fits in there snug, they come in plastic or if you want they can be made up, think alloy machined....go see a mag/tyre place they should have what your looking for.hope that helps

Excact same prob with our car. Wheels were alligned and balanced numerous times. Bought new rims, so the spacers went, and the vibrations went with them.

two type spacer on the market, using the bolt type with same size center hole can solve the vibration....
