<<< hands legal documents to poyz obtained from high court to bring him back to reality saying that his pulsar is and wont be the fastest car ever in the world, and to remind him that if they r the greatest thing ever made there would be a pulsar forum where he would mumble on about how good it is>>>

It's quite obvious that a standard GTi-R is quicker than a standard GTS-t. I don't need to re-enforce that.

And about this mods thing. That's the entire point. Everyone here bought their cars to make it quicker (well maybe a large proportion - not everyone can afford more mods) And all you seem to do is paint your interior blue.

Btw: I don't know about you, but I consider it significant that a GTi-R can out quick a GTR. Considering it's a smaller/less powerful car from factory. Kinda like a Datto 1600 running low 12's all days. That's a freaking acheivment. Does that mean this Datto can't go on about beating a stock GTR?

P.S I might see you at that dyno day. I'll have a chuckle at your interior then since I'll see in in person.

Attached below is the dyno graph for a rb20det fitted with the TSI engine management system. The car had 440cc GTR Injectors and an rb25det afm which was quite a combination to overcome with the standard ecu. As you can see, the TSI did a good job in handling fuel and ignition duties at the 19psi required to make the power on the graph. The tune was very conservative as with all our street tunes and there was more power to be had if we pushed the timing.

The shootout mode is there for the sake of obtaining consistent results in different atmospheric conditions and for cars of different drivetrains. If the correct inertial settings for each car are entered then the power reading will not be inflated.

so shootout mode aint 100% accurate then.

question if a get a power chip, what exact features does it optimize

i cant tell you what it does on an rb25 unless someone loans me the ecu for a day....

but i have compared an image on the rb30 and all it changed was advancing certain spots on the ignition advance map and changes to two constants (rev limiting i think - since they advertised that rev limiting was increased on the vl/r31)

there were no changes to the fuel maps or anything else. from what I understand the AFC will alter the signals to the ECU with determing the Voltage Quanitifier map from the AFM. i dont know what else it does without looking into it further
