R33 S1 Question

Hi Everyone,

I am currently looking at a 4 Door, 1993 R33 S1 and this being my first turbo'd Skyline, just want to know if I should get the Turbo checked out straight away.

The car has 80,000 on the clock and I dont really have the time or money to have crappy problems like have a shagged turbo or something.

Just wondering what you all reckon.

Check it out your self. Look inside the pipe work and check for excessive oil. Also take the inlet pipe and feel the turbo for shaft play. Take the car for a spin and listen for any bad noises from the turbo.

Pull the engine oil cap and peer inside with a torch. If theres plenty of varnish or sludge, chances are the car wasnt looked after very well so I'd be beginning to wonder about its over all condition, not jus the turbo.
