R32 Rb20 Intercooler Piping ?

Hey there,

Sorry to be a total newbie but does any one know if i have to cut a hole in the engine bay were the battery is to do a FMIC on my R32 GTS-T. Also is ther piping kits you can by to suit a hybrid cooler and were can i get new pipes made up.

Does anyone have any engine bay photos of a R32 witha FMIC.

Hey josh i was looking for ages today what do i need to search for ?? I have a hybrid intercooler already but it has like steel piping with a hole cut in the bay were the battery sits and there is a much smaller battery because of it, so i wanted to replace all the pipe work and weld over the holes.

Yep cut hole... all good. Buy piping kits anywhere dude.

Oh but you don't need to change the battery tho.. the hole is lower down.. doesn't affect the battery at all..

R32's have enough room to get the piping through under the battery tray on the vertical bit. they even have a little semi circular impression there as the GTR runs it's pipe there.
