Been trying to get an apexi pod filter for about 3 months now of a place i wouldn't recommend ever shopping again. finally got one sent only to find it wrong and was a sommota filter or something like that. I called the bloke and said it was not apexi so i didn't want it so he said he'd try and get one. Called him the other day and he said apexi have stopped making them aswell as the piggyback computers . Is this true ? He's pushing me to put the simmota one on but i don't think the quality is as good. anyone had experiene with simmota or know where i can get a apexi ? thanks

I think he's getting confused.

There no longer is an "Apexi" to the world at large. They are now known as "Apexera".

I cannot see Apexi changing their name to Apexera THEN reducing the amount of items they produce and deleting their core products.

Check Ebay, theres a an Apexi power intake (rated one of the best) on their cheap as chips.

Do it, Do it.

yeah thanks guys , took the simmota filter back to the bloke but he wouldn't refund my money just give me a credit. it was there fault to start with but now i've got to buy something at this shop . anyone in cairns watch out for this shop , the bloke is a c*nt and useless . thanks

what a toss. I'm sure consumer affairs would wouldn't mind a call, if it was really getting on your goat. I have the same problem with northfield, bought a sub that they assured me would fit in the tyre well without problems, lowe and behold it didn't, and now I'm stuck with $300 store credit for a place that has nothing I want! well, nothing that I can't get off ebay for alot cheaper anyway :(

I was in a shop once and the guy said no refund, just credit.I asked my wife to please take the kids out of the shop for a moment, would you believe it,he gives me money back,go figure.Stand up for yourself buddy, get your money back.

General store mark up on these items is 50%.

If they charged you $50, then around $25 of that goes into their pocket..

If they give you a refund, they lose the profit from the sale.

If they give you a credit, they keep the difference.

If you use your credit, you are getting ripped off all over again because of the mark up on items.

i am a retailer and deal with this kind of stuff all the time. the law states that if the retailer doesnt supply the customer with exactly what they ordered (ie goods do not match description of what is written on your receipt) or goods are faulty you are entitled to a full refund. He is in the wrong. F**K him its not the money its the principle. go there remind of his obligations as a retailer and make him pay.

go to the consumer affairs website or ring them and ask them to send you a info on refunds exchange etc and go in to his store with it.

I agree, he is at fault, he should give you a refund.

Also m&m is right, even if he wasn't in the wrong you could still get a refund. Just keep complaining until you get a refund. Thats what I do. :(

Also at my old job I wasn't supposed to give refunds but I did anyway, or told them to come back when the manager was in. I cbf arguing with a pissed off customer, especially when I have plenty of other work to do. Usually when they came back and argued with the manager for a while she gave them a refund anyway.

After all, the customer is always right.
