I Have a PC license, and hope 2 be competing in improved production and another Bathurst event (aiming to do a 12 hour eventually in a few years time) in my little Honda.

Is that the car that has been doing IPRA for a couple of years or have you just built it? the other integra has been going pretty well

nar, i am just starting the build... it is still practically stock atm... getting a 6 point cage soon and a proper race seat and harness set-up(6point)..

i did FOSC Bathurst last month (BEST TRACK EVER! 231km/h in a basicly stock motor 1.8L N/A is awesome down conrod ) and have been competing in NSW CAMS Super Sprint topping my class (2b and faster then 3B) now i am more hooked then ever and want to get in to proper racing being just 19 yrs of age is the perfect age... got in to it through my old man as he is very much in to the track scene with his modified 90' MX-5 Turbo..

Joined up as a mate (MattD) told me 2 join up and 2 see if i could make it to some Canberra event you guys are holding.. but cant make it this yr maybe next yr when they car is closer 2 completion

Have you thought about production cars not improved production? We have a class for fwd and there is already another integra in it. Cheaper than IP because less mods are allowed. Should be great fun either way

I also have a question regarding insurance. I am currently on my p's and i'm looking to get some insurance for my car (S13 Onevia).

Are shannons more likely to give me insurance because I have a cams license/compete in club/track events even though I'm on my P's and under the age of 25?

I had Just Car insurance on my previous car, and I was very unimpressed with their customer service/cover etc..

Just renewed my National Rally Nav Licence.

Paid extra for their super quick processing and it still took over 3 weeks for it to arrive in the letterbox grrrrrrrrr

CAMs could learn a thing or two from AASA when it comes to licencing.

hmm and as usual for cams "rush" license it literally turned up the day after you left for the event. glad we paid extra for that "service"

the dickheads can't even send out licenses on time, its no wonder people would rather deal with aasa.
