Hello

I am installing a set of HKS GT-SS turbos onto my GTR and noticed that the banjo bolt for the oil line has a brass restrictor in it.

Does anybody know if I should use this or use the original banjo bolt which would flow heaps more oil?

The one that comes with the turbos has a oil hole that would only be about 1mm is size. The original banjo bolt is about 3-4mm in size. I would have thought that the more oil the better?

I can't read the instructions as they are in Japanese.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

You must run the oil restrictor supplied with the hks gt-ss turbos as ball bearing turbo do not need any where the oil a bush bearing turbo does plus the restrictor helps to drop oil pressure on the oil seals after the restrictor. For example i have had to restrict the garret ball bearing turbos back to a restrictor 0.8mm as the garret turbos do not like oil pressure over 60psi and a good gtr cold will do that idling.
