Gtr Triple Centre Guages Help Me!!!!

i wanna put a set in my r32 gts-t mine has a aftermarket cd and climate control and i have had it all apart several times.... what do i need and can i hook the guages up to a std loom at all???? if not what do i have to do any help would be appretiated...thanks guys......

Isnt one of the GTR guages a traction meter for the attessa system, surely thats of no use to you anyway?

What are the other 2 guages?

It would be much easier to just buy 3 guages that you want, get a flat piece of ally or plastic, cut 3 holes in it and hey presto your own GTR triple guage that looks better and doesnt have a defunct traction meter.

hmmm i thought they were oil water and boost but then i also thought thay they are in the dash too but then i thought that gtr may not have them in the dash???? i like factory lookin stuff sometimes....

its (from left to right) volts, oil temp, then boost... this is for the R32 model... all of the gauges are electrical so you're gonna have to get the complete loom too.

volts and boost are easy enough to wore up singularly but i would need a sensor for the oil temp of some description too which may prove a little hard.....

aftermarket may be the best way to go... the original gauges are pretty slow reacting and markings are a bit on the povo side.

hmmm interesting what about getting a stuffed gtr triple cluster that has a stuffed guage and using that to mount 3 aftermarket guages hence making the setup look neat and tidy.....? and semi factory....

should work... the autometer 2" series of gauges look like they're the closest fit.

to get the oil temp gauge to work, a temp sensor would be needed, would the part be available from a nissan dealer?

im assuming there would be one out there for the R's....

if my memory serve me well, you need the GTR culster to make the gauge works..and maybe the climate control as well..

You notice how the GTS climate controls have the bevelled edges?

The GTR ones have the bevelled edges and then there's the square climate controls.

You really need the whole GTR centre guages and aircon controls and loom. In the 33 you have to discard the torque meter.

It really is more work than it's worth. The setup would fill the centre section and you loose the double din obviously.

i know that Greddy have a adapter that bolts to where ur oil filter is and from there u get the oil temp and pressure outlets. ur filter screws back on so the adapter plate is between the bolck and filter.

that is that case in the r33

but the r32 there is no bevelled egde on any of them

so it really depends on the car
