im looking at goin 2 japan n stocking up on heaps of parts/wheels etc n bringing them back to australia. i wanna be bringing back a fair bit of turbos, wheels, jus general auto parts and alot of them!

is it as simple as finding some1 to ship it over in a container?? are there any taxes etc to be paid when they arrive??

or is it a more complex procedure.

Err - talk to AQIS (Customs).

There will be tax (and a HUGE set of tax rules) in addition to clearance fees (and container hire) (and insurance)

It has been said that there are two certainties in life: Death and Taxes.

Its not true. I don't plan to die.

no taxes or anything required, just fill your container in japan and declare it as excess baggage when you get home ..shouldn`t be any problems
