few questions about the cooler.

1) how much power is it rated up to....im hoping for 280-300rwkw....someday:)

2)is there a nipple on the return pipe for my hose back to the solenoid?

3)does this pipe enable me to create a cold air feed for my pod using the stock cooler piping hole?

4)how hard is it to install these as opposed to the hybrid kits and so forth, any fan blade trimming involved?

5)why would anyone go for the r-spl over this kit?

and lastly, and most importantly, what experiences have you had with them, ie seat of pants, performance wise.....

thanks to all that reply back to me

cheers,

ok im no expert but i got the V-spl fitted a few months ago.

Q3) yes, there is a nice handy hole left there to put a cold air feed through.

Q4)These kits are very easy to install. easier than the hybrids as there is no trimming involed at all.

Also i didnt notice a huge increase in power. But i had just got a new exhaust put on and was stil getting used to that. i didnt pre/post dyno or anything. They are an extremelly well made unit though.

There's no nipple on the return pipe for your solenoid. I thought it was pretty straight forward to install, but I had to trim the back of the fan a little, as well as shave a little bit off the back of each of the front indicators. Also had to slightly cut the front reinforcement bar, but nothing major. My car is a S1 R33 by the way.

"The internet? Is that thing still around?"

i installed my v-spl and i had to trim a few things like the casing of the aircon fan, had to trim my front bumper to fit the cooler and the pipes, also had to make a hole under the water bottle for the return pipe from intercooler to throttle body was a simple install.

BUT for the hose for the soloniod i had to get a nipple welded on though but greddy supplies a pipe to intersect to another line.

shouldnt have any trouble it explains everything on the instruction booklet
