NO JAGO, NOT TO GET FLUTTER!

By blocking off the vent hole, it makes boost build faster. It is designed to vent boost all the time to make transisition between boost and no boost smoother.

I don't mind harshness, and I want quicker boost build.

NB: don't hold me to this, I'm just going by what others like Skid have said.

as said... it doesn't flutter.

it brings boost on earlier.

and holds maybe half a psi more boost.

Is it a worthy mod? I found a thread once on it but cant locate it now - even then I think it was inconclusive

Actually it does cause flutter since there's no where for the trapped air to escape if you block off the BOV hole. My mate and I put a metal sheet in between to see what it was like. But I took it off because I don't want the "wank factor".

Theres a vent hole I believe that is seperate to the main hole..they're not talking about disconnecting the BOV all together..

He never said anything about blocking off the main bov hole. Obviously, it would cause flutter. He was talking about blocking off the small vent hole on the bov. Take your bov off and have a look at it and you'll know what i'm talking about.
