I reckon it's a simple means of getting the wheel exactly the way you need / want it. You can select the centre, inner rim and outer rim individually. Once assembled, you then have the width and offset necessary for your particular application.

If you damage the rim (outer or inner or both) they can be replaced without replacing the centre. Good luck buying imported rims only though.

the thing is, i found a nice set of rays engineering evolutions3s 18x8/18x9 and they come in some funky offset(+40) where i need +30 front, and +20 rear, i know i can run some 10mm and 20mm spacers, but i thought you were able to change the offset with out buying anything new, it seems i have to get the inner rim part made up to what i want?

anyone know where i can get somthing like this?

yeh i've got a set of 3 piece wheels, and 1 inner piece is cracked their fairly old though, cv pro's i think, anyone know if their still available?
