we have 440AWKW and clutch is great...its the best value for money performance part i have EVER purchased for any of my cars. I dont think i could speak more highly of Jim and his work...i would never run a poorly set-up over priced Jap item ever again.

Thanks for that - ill hold on till the current clutch is 100% dead, tow the car home, then get a JB one

Have you done any upgrades to driveshafts?

Or anything else that breaks from this sort of abuse?

My GTR has a hard life in front of it (not as much as yours though) and i want to "prep" it as best i can

dont modify it then... or you'll eat another clutch in no-time

you start a thread, everyone says Jim. B... and you go with what the mechanic reckons.

Lemme guess your mechanic doesnt work on skylines for a living?  :D

hahaha he only works on turbo high performance cars and he is a licensed mechanic and has always worked on my GTR and my GTS-t beofre this car and i have naver had a problem with his work. Sorry, but I think i trust a mechanic over you mate.

My car doesnt have 400 kw or anywhere near that (and it never will), so my need for some super jimmy clutch isnt that high.

Its funny how someone says something and then other people just agree like they know who my mechanic is?!?!? what a joke.

and by the way, i only wanted opinions, i didnt say i will garantee you i am going to buy whatever you say.

Thanks to everyone for their OPINION. I appreciate it.

$700 for a decent GTR Clutch is cheap!! Its a normal maintenance cost on a GTR and not the best car to be cutting corners on.

You must stress when it comes to filling the tank up with fuel ??

I would be going to the guy who builds clutches for cars worldwide !!

Went into see Jim the other Day, He gets my vote.

Jim Berry rebuilt my Nismo Twin Plate Clutch. All I can say about Jim is that he is the man, I asked for the whole cake and I got to eat it when I asked him what I wanted from a clutch as Nismo Clutch's are fantastic and he made it better!

He even rang me after I had my clutch installed to see if I was happy and if there was anything he could do - nobody does that stuff anymore but Jim!!! :)

Once you use one of his clutch's you'll be saying the same thing, just like everyone else thats used his clutch's.

Adam what was the rebuild cost for yours please? I have a Nismo Twin Plate that was previously installed incorrectly and therefore wore out quickly, so the Exedy guy told me. He quoted me a figure to rebuild and was wondering what you paid (or what Jim's ballpark is) please.
