http://www.auspost.com.au/

I will only send via registered post as it provides proof. :(

If in SA pickup available

Direct Deposit only.

I can supply plugs OR you can zip down to your local wrecker and pick up a second hand item from a VL or R31 RB30E.

Providing we can get 15 plugs together they plugs can be done for an extra $10.70 each.

As the AFM is a new item from Bosch.

Bosch make the Airflow meters for Nissan.

Buy a Nissan afm and you will find Bosch/Jecs markings on it.

The Bosch Z32's RRP is $450, trade is ~$390.

From memory Nissan want ~$600 odd.

Due to a shortage of supply the group buy will not go ahead until....... Bosch are ready. :D

According to Bosch: At some stage there was a manufacturing problem that caused a lot of back orders.

They estimated they would be in surplus by the 1st of May.

Its now the 1st of May and they still have backorders.

Z32 Airflow meters are available in small numbers around various suppliers for the full price but as I said... In small numbers. The supply to these suppliers obviously takes priority over our group buy.

To my surprise, I received a call early this morning, Bosch have now pushed the date to the 1st of July.

Either way, 'eventually' our group buy will go ahead.

For a new afm that you don' t have to worry about for another 10years its an awesome price.

Possibly? I don't mean to sound harsh but I really don't want to be buggered around on this as I'm not making anything on it, in fact its costing me slightly.

For future ppls possibly interested, please be sure if you are interested or don't mention you may be. :P

cubes, you said 'interest' i posted an interest but having re-read my post i think you misunderstood.

i need one for a current car and pending the arrival of a car from japan i might need a second....hence "possibly 2" not "possibly too".

If you have the part number you can buzz any auto parts store and they will give you a price on the Q45/VH41.

Retail for the Z32's are $450.

They can be found at trade for ~$390.

No.. If you want the plug head down to the wrecker and grab one from a VL or R31.

I do have wiring diagrams for both the R32/R33 S1 and the R33 S2.

I don't have wiring diagrams for the GTR's. If some one does, please drop me a pm and I will grab them from you. :)

Its not rocket science though, easy to wire, you have a + feed, earth(s), signal.

Bosch make the AFM for nissan, as NGK make the oxygen sensors for nissan.

So in short its a Bosch AFM, as is the afm you buy from nissan.

See initial thread start post for pics I've attached.

You can see to the left of the flow direction where nissan have their nissan emblem stamped.

Thats correct, you will need 2. Do you want 2?

2 RB20/25 afm would probably meet your requirements depending on power goals? 400rwkw+ will require Z32's.

When will the deadline to pull out? I'll need to confirm with the tuner whether my AFM will maxed out with the 2535/PFC combo or whether he can get around the AFM issue.

    • Nah, just take the other one off too
    • Oh yeah forgot to also mention need to also unplug the IACV as well. Thanks for the reminder @MBS206 Unplugging the TPS takes it out of closed loop so you're able to screw down the IACV without the ECU trying to add/subtract timing to maintain the idle (not sure PowerFC can even do this, but Nistune and the OEM definitely does)
    • For sale is my 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-T, tuned to 234 kW / 313 hp. I've had the car for a few years as my daily driver. The car is original (as far as Skylines go), with only a few minor upgrades to enhance performance and driving experience, as typical for such a car of its age. Overall, it is in great condition with no body rust, thanks to its earlier import date. It features a top-notch security system (not literally, but it's great!) with remote start and still functional 4-wheel steering via HICAS. It comes with several performance and handling upgrades, including:     Hypergear 450HP Turbocharger running 17 PSI boost, installed mid-2021 by Jaustech     550cc injectors     Nistune ECU     Front-Mount Return-Flow Intercooler     X-Force Stainless Steel Exhaust     Upgraded engine mounts     Bottom end bearings replaced     BC Coilovers     Lenso DR1 rims     Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 TL 245/40R18 97W tires, fitted early 2023 The interior is mostly stock, with a few additions:     Viper Satellite Tracking System with remote start     Bluetooth Double-Din Touchscreen Head Unit     Steering wheel cover Cons:     A few paint imperfections here and there     Driver’s seat shows more wear than the others. It's not torn at all, but I've added a seat cover to protect its condition. I also have a CarVX Vehicle History report available for serious buyers, so you don’t need to purchase it yourself. Price: $26,000 ONO.
    • I've had two suzukis in the past have an extremely hard time turning over and not starting after sitting for a few weeks. Ended up the alternator would seize up causing the starter to force. Same issue both times.  Maybe they're sourcing their alternators from the same place...
