Looks like you're dead right there - won't be using them again. How not to get repeat business => don't reply to emails, give bullsh*t shipment dates.

i was like that the last time i used nengun, but i was shopping around for a greddy manifold and they came up about 200bucks cheaper than the nearest rival. Since its not an urgent part i dont mind waiting a 1-1.5 months, but if there was ever a part i needed straight away i definately wouldnt go through them, but then you pay a premium to get parts quicker else where

I am looking at ordering some wheels through Nengun but is it normal for to order 2 wheels at a time so the total cost is under $1000 which avoids getting taxed?

Wheels are ordered by Nengun straight from the factory and can take upto 7 weeks so how long should I wait before ordering the second pair? Anyone waited longer than 7 weeks for wheels from Nengun?

cheers

Well, you can specify the number of wheels meaning it would be 2 orders. plus I thought 2 orders would have worked out more for shipping anyway?!.

What about ordering under a different name and address but still using my credit card for both orders?

i just recently did order some things thru nengun. All my gear arrived, as promised. they did a great job. the wait is the hardest part. but i saved a heap. *thumbs up for nengun*

the Longest part I noticed was for it to leave japan. then the wait to get to my door was quite short. I did use Express Air mail. I might add.

So whos seen the new site layout? Fairly easy to get used to, awesome work Nengun

Im not liking the new site. i cant access the categories for my specific vehicle, all i can see is accessories and when i chose from the category list on the left it just gives me the list of parts for all the vehicles which is a bit of a pain in the ass, or am i missing something?

Ive used Nengun a couple of times, and bar the initial wait while the parts are ordered in, it was perfect. I dont mind waiting with the prices that can be had.

New website looks pretty good, might have another look now.......

Why havnt the Admins done everyone a favor and Edit'd this thread yet? It would appear to me, that in the interest to prospective parts buyers, and the company itself, it would be wise to remove the obvious statement made by someone regarding shipping prices.

Hey guys sorry to bring up an old thread... i just have a quick question.

I placed an order last night for a power fc went through the payment process and then the computer froze. Not sure if it went through or not. Now in my account it has my order and all the details but at status it says awaiting payment... but i cant find any links to pay the total amount. So im wondering if they are awaiting for it to clear or i need to repeat the process. If you need screen shots i can post them up.

Thanks for your help,

Dave

    • I've been pondering this, I really enjoy the convertible thing, for me, it's like riding a motorbike, without all the issue of riding a motorbike, mainly, my old sore arthritic joints getting beaten up, and, being able to do it in shorts and a T-shirt and not needing a helmet and all the other gear required, especially like wearing jackets and pants in the summer, or needing 6 layers of cloths in the winter, or not having wet weather gear handy when your 100km away from home on the bike when it decides to start raining As for the hard top and its Coupe look, whilst I do lose all that open top feeling that I really enjoy, from my experience with the NB with a detachable hard top, the cabin is a much nicer place to be, the difference in noise for one, a hard top quietens down the interior, alot, with the soft top up or down it's pretty noisy, which, after 5 or so hours, can get tiring But, as you stated, the detachable hard top totally changes the look of the car, in a really good way, and for me, the look of a detachable hard top is so much better than the PRHT which looks more like a after thought with its weird bulbous rear roof line For me, the minimal effort of putting in on, or storing it after removing it, is well worth the time and effort for the look alone And yes, I'm sure the next owner will be grateful for it as well.......
    • I get into huffs with people when I suggest the MX5 looks so much better as a coupe than it does as convertible. Pretty sure I don't prefer the convertible version of anything. Good job on the hardtop! The next buyer will appreciate.
    • IMO wrap does have its uses, but like you said, quality wrap, and professional installation, would probably cost want a quality paint job does, but, the paint, if maintained, is basically for life, and much easier to touch up if required  In other news: it's pissing down here, with thunder, lightning and only some small hail "at this stage", luckily all "my" cars are undercover  I've also been contacted by a guy in Newcastle about the SS, he said he will come down next weekend for a look, we'll see how that transpires I guess 🫰
    • Nah, I'm not an a-hole, ha ha!   I do like the colour match. Some of the carbon fibre wraps are quite freaking horrible. There's one a local company I know uses, and it looks damn good! Also very very expensive per metre to buy! ha ha ha It might be cheaper to respray the roof than use the good CF Wrap, ha ha!
    • Please noooooooo 😭 As for wrap, no thank you mate, I've seen and used "carbon fibre" wrap before, and for these hard tops, they look soooo good when colour matched Like this >>>
