gtst4d
You will need a 3 inch turbo back exaust( get one of those split dumps from the guy on this forum), fmic(can get a good cheep one from another guy on this forum), a fuel pressure reg and a Power fc ( get it of the same guy that sells you the fmic). Hope that helps. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/102107-200rwkw-on-a-budget/#findComment-1872038 Share on other sites
chrissso
really cheap? Chinese ebay turbo dump + 3" exhaust + bashed cat. chinese copy ebay intercooler simarks boost controller Jarcay DFA. Please note that the dump pipe might split and the intercooler might not flow and cool enough. You get what you pay for. Just save up. However, simarks boost controller works well, and so does the DFA, if you put it together right. Bass Junky
How much money? $3000-$4000 including fitting and tuning, depending on the components and the quality of work you want. SAMFISHER
You don't need an aftermarket fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. I have HKS style dump pipe & exhaust, R34 intercooler, K&N panel filter and Power FC with boost controller kit. Made 207 rwkw (hub dyno) at 0.7 bar (10 psi). Total cost including tuning approx $3,400 ($NZ) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/102107-200rwkw-on-a-budget/#findComment-1872598 Share on other sites

LANFOH
I make that power with just: Full Exhaust Pod Filter FMIC Fuel Controller 10psi Boost. Might be a good idea to get an upgraded clutch aswell because the standard one may get cooked depending how you drive. Spook's_Skyline
You pay for what you get. If you do it on a budget you wont get quality.. words to live by sure the fuel pump doesnt make any extra power, but i woudlnt want to push the stocko that hard, coz if it lets go, your engine aint going to like it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/102107-200rwkw-on-a-budget/#findComment-1873150 Share on other sites

raz0r$harP.UK
Don't even need a FMIC.. if you are going the cheap route an R34 GTT intercooler is only about $200 second hand and will be fine for 200kw. RANDY
Bingo! It's the power figure i'm looking for. I've got my GTT intercooler, $30 boost tap @ 8psi, and the split dump and exhaust will follow soon. ghostflame
no use really going the cheap way, once u start modding it never ends, youll want more power after what you've done. paulr33
also it should be important to note that mods based on a $ per kw gain at the start is very high, then as you progress it drops signifcantly. the first few mods are really cheap and give really good gains. then as you progress up the power tree, usually past 160rwkw it becomes more expensive per kw gain. ie piggyback vs standalone and so on Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/102107-200rwkw-on-a-budget/#findComment-1884526 Share on other sites
