oils an't oils!

Castrol Formula R, 0w/40 this stuff is very thin, like water and great for turbos. Only problem is it retails for about $80 for 5L, find a trade outlet and pay about $50.

When it comes to oils and air filters, I think the first thing people should stop looking at is HP. They have to perform their jobs, HP gain is a bonus. Oil MUST lubricate the engine properly and protect it from wear and tear. If your looking for HP, there are other things which you can do to get bigger gains. I'd rather lose 3kw at the wheel, than have a busted motor.

Oils will vary from motor to motor. No one oil is suited to all cars.

I work for a communications company who has some machinery that they maintain. P.O. says "20L Drum - Synthetic Machinery Oil (BPV5000)"

Silver-Arrowz yep I hear what your saying man and totally agree. Check the link i posted and have a read. The guy who did the write up has worked for F1 teams and also did a few right ups for various oil companies.
