Fuel Mixture

got told the other day that if i run a straight 3 inch pipe where my cat is that it will cause the fuel mixtures to alter whilst on boost. note i also have a dump and front pipe.

apart from fail an epa test would this have any detrimental affect to my car when it is running around 13psi on a stock turbo.

itl be fine, just less laggy, your injector duty cycle will go up about %5

the 13psi will have a more detrimental affect to turbo life (as they dont like heat) as opposed to running no cat.

running no cat isnt gonna hurt the car as such at all.

disclaimer: no cat in a car is illegal etc etc

13psi is only occasional (high) standard is around 9 - 10 psi.
