Tacho Playing Up

Hi,

my OEM TACH meter gauge is faulty,

only happened twices,

while driving, the REVS needle hit ZERO, dead flat, it stay there for like a min or 2, then its back on, happened twices since i had it for 2 months.

Can some 1 have any idea why? and how to fix it?

it's a bad connection, most likely at the dash end. auto elctrician could fix it EZ.

experienced something new today,

while driving,

the revs stayed at 1200 rpm,

and stay there for about 10 sec,

i tried to rev higher but stil stuck there,

stupid tacho, maybe the needle stuck, or the pin shalf hold the needle got bugged
