Manditory Location Field

seems a lot of newbies may not be adding there locations this makes it very hard for buyers or sells of items i.e Im hunting a flywheel and Ive got to pm or reply asking for sellers location all the time to make sure they r in the same state as me

Unfortunately, even if we make it mandatory, people put silly things in there such as 'planet earth' and similar. We push for people to put their locations in the For Sale thread but again, we cant control what they write.

what about just making a list of the states for scroll through and select when sigining up ?

state location is better than nothing
