R33 Gts-t Problem

the other nite i put allot of pressure on my car, and it stalled a few times while turbo was still really hot, now when my car hits the boost the engine revs fast but the car hardly moves, i turned the boost all the way down but i still get this problem, everything sounds ok, but no power, ???

can some1 tell me at least what this could b?

sounds like your clutch is gone...

but it does it after i change gears, if i step on it the engine revs high but no power comin through, could it b a clutch in this case?

yeah deffinately sounds like youve buggered the clutch is it standard? They are always 1st to go the weakest link in the drive train

yea. its standard, its been slippin 4 the past few months in the 1st gear, so i guess thats the problem, do u know the prices of heavy duty, or just stock clutch kit? that would help me heaps,

does it freely rev without pulling at all? do you have any clutch burn smell? if youve done a few mods and making a bit of power over stock and your running the stock clutch then its most likely slipping.

usual signs of clutch slipping are burning smell, free (or easy) revving sometimes from like 3 grand to 5 or 6, sometimes to redline it depends. if you keep putting stress on it, it will fail completely so baby it around if this is the case. if it happens only when you bring on some load then its probably clutch dead

4 bout few months now i had a really funky smell comin outta it, so that was probably the clutch.
