ooer i'm divided on this one... it'd have to be teh Vorks (roflmao) or number 6, and the RS GT as a last resort.

Number 6 for teh win, only cos I think they're the next big "rim to have"... TE37's and their copies are a little played out now.

PS: here's a couple of pics of our workshop demo cars...

personally I prefer the battle ravaged matte black look :)

Nooooo!! No more gold 32's!! ever!! lol ;)

painting for the drift R32 started just before the first time you came to check out the car, so I think they beat you to teh gold. I didn't actually see the car until after I got back from QLD, and I remember thinking, "wtf is with everyone painting their R32's gold", thank god I'm painting mine purple.

To think you almost painted it hot pink.

hmm.. opinions noted.

Problem is, I can only get number 6, 1 & 3 in 18"..

Whereas I can get number 2 in 19"...

As majority of you know, she is N/A so I'm going for more of a ricey rather than tough look cos I dont really want her looking all tough with nothin to back it up with.. Decisions decisions. I am genuinely stuck. lol

gold?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?

I'm not much a fan of any of them, if any I'd have to go for number four.  IMHO if the gold colour doesn't match your car it's going to look like crap.

And thats why whichever I choose they will be re painted with my leftover paint from the car...

They are for my car and all coloured parts of these wheels will be painted the same colour as my car to match really nicely...

She's gonna get em painted the same.

I probably should have read all teh posts. Oh well. Plus none of us have to drive around in it.

oh wait, paint your car pink and get some mad manga style artwork done on it.

or not.

Firstly, I saw your car at Robina Town Centre the other day and I have to say it's a very nice clean ride. Just needed some rims I thought :) haha

I say number 1. Firstly, it appaers you're going for the all smooth, clean look. Gold is good, it's very crisp and has a lot of gradient. I was thinking 6 but to me they look too detailed. I think it would detract rather than flow with your car.

Anyway, 1 or 6 ... the rest look dodgy. Don't get 2, that'll just make your brakes look small.

Oh and personally I'd get black wheels :D To make it look hawt.

    • HKS trigger kit should be very easy to integrate with a Link. It's a 36-2 crank trigger. Hard part is finding the motivation to take off the timing belt and everything on the front of the engine to install it. You also need to cut out a hole in the oil pump housing so the sensor can read the trigger wheel. Changing out the cam sensor for a 24 tooth setup is probably good enough but as others have mentioned depending on what underlying assumptions are changed it becomes more of a problem. Reading the crank state off of the cam is an abstraction that works in the general case, but if you have an edge case it makes less and less sense. There is a GTX2860 gen 2 that can take a compact 5 bolt housing so it's direct bolt on but I'm not 100% sure of what's involved. Peak compressor efficiency drops off a bit on these turbos vs -5s, 77% vs 73% but you get way, way wider region of operation. The -5s have a really strange surge line in their compressor map that is all over the place. If you think the hot side on the -5s aren't open enough you can try the Tomei T550B turbos which a local tuner seems to be happy with:
