Just trying to get together some info on how much certain skylines would cost me to run weekly..

If the information is personal by all means don't post... love to see some posts though

mines a r33 auto sunroof and body kit with stock wheelz 18000 31/2 years ago

3' stainless exhaust out of turbo 2000

pod (cypher) fmic(hybird) pbbov(turbo smart) 2000

eboost2 900

Strut braces front and rear 150 each

safc 1000 installed but blew up and no warrenty

it is on 120000 now and i got it at 48000

ultimate 98 60 every 3 weeks not a day driver any more tx3 fwd turbo gets trashed

now the liner does 150kms a week now

insurance 1200 full cover

tyers 800 every 2 years

service every 3 months 200 pop

i spend f**ken heaps but i own it and it is nice to drive and i dont go out cluben any more so i have something 2 show 4 it

Did the sums a while ago. Its about $25-35 a week before you put petrol in. Can go up like $20 or so tho depending on insurance, if you do skids everywhere etc.

went from newy to melbourne and back last week, 3000k's in a week cost me about $400-$450 in fuel

expensive week for the car

apart from fuel ~$60/week, tyres $900 every 6-8 months and insurance, besides modding you gotta watch out for when unexpected things go wrong...

case in point...

clutch left.... -$1200

rotors + pads - $500

exhaust manifold gasket - $ 700

car being stolen and having to come up with $2100 excess .... -$2100

you gotta make sure you got some funnds in reserve all the time, otherwise you left with a dayum nice paper weight....

I get 420 kms of a tank in town and 470 on the highway if I keep it below 100, otherwise i get about 400 a tank if that. It used to be an auto in Japan, they changed it to manual, so I am guessing final ratio is wrong now.

Granny Driving with that consumption. Occasional squirt.

Insurance, Third Party Property with Just Cars is $860 i think
