Any Good Engine Builders In Newcastle?

Time to rebuild my 32 gtr. Does anyone know any good engine builders in Newcastle area that do a good job and doesnt rip you off?

TWO.06L off here is the best builder of an RB around here. No questions. If he will do it for you, you'll have to pm him and ask nicely I'd say. This is if you want it done very well, be prepared to pay for the quality ofcourse. Wouldn't bother if you are looking for a budget solution.

Thanks psybic, yes we do all our own engines...and customer engines too. Although our head work is outsourced as the guy we use is simply too good. We are not budget builders, but in saying that i rarely see quality offered cheaply.

Yep I have been discussing this with Paul already

i dont think i will take it to Syd, just a pain to get it down there when I cant really drive my car. Also I have heard mixed opinions about Hunter Thomas. One of my mates reckons the's the best and then i have a couple others who reckon the's a rip off! Well i got myself a few months to decide because of lack of funds

Seeing you created two of these thread's phil, i see my other comment has gone astray!

But i also would get ye ol' locals at DiRTgarage to make your engine healthy again. As stated by paul, you cant comprimise on quality when it comes to a rebuild. And im sure he'll do a great job for ya.

(Btw Paul, finally got all those darn defects cleared too !)

Apparently the owner got fed up with paying for his forum to be hosted or something....
