Water Temp Sender For R34gtt

I have just fitted a water temp gauge to my R34GTT, and am wondering where others have tapped into, to get the water temp readings? Is there a stock point in the water system anywhere to screw in a threaded temp probe?

Or should I buy one of these:

and if so, which size do I need (JustJap suggested 36mm, but he didn't really know), and on which hose would I put it? Anyone got a pic of where their temp sensor is?

the one off ebay goes into the middle of your top radiator hose. You cut a piece of it out and fit that in, then screw in the temp sensor. That will give you a reading of the coolant before it goes through the core...

I just measured the top radiator hose and it has a diameter of around 45mm. Seems too big, compared to what he is selling.

find some pipe that'll fit inside the top radiator hose (43mm?), drill a hole in it, and weld a nut on that will fit the sensor. Then fit that in your top hose
