Hey im looking at doing some upgrading of performance parts on my car and one of the most obvious upgrade is a higher flow fuel pump...

Was wondering if the OEM R33 GTR fuel pump would be a good upgrade for my R33 GTST? What are they rated at compared to say a 044 or something?

I was talking to my mate about it and he was saying i would need to upgrade my fuel pressure regulator as well other wise it would be a useless upgrade of the pump. Is this true or is this just drunk mates thinking they know best? <_<

I have a gtr33 pump in my car and its a direct swap and easy to install (takes about 2 hours by yourself) without hacking / cutting wiring etc.

It flows good for around 300rwkw however your injectors will max out before that stage anyway. Once you need more fuel, ie: larger injectors you can simply go for a nismo fuel reg and crank up the rail pressure as needed.

The stock rail and injectors with a gtr33 pump should be fine for just under 230rwkw ish. I'm seeing 80% inj duty max on 193rwkw with gtr33 pump

cool thanks for that mate..

yer well as said in another post im wanting 200-220rwkw on the stock turbo so yers sound like the GTR pump is the way to go.....

Do you remember how much it was roughly?
