R34 Gtr V Spec Ll 2001 Model, What Diagnostic

Hi guys, I was hoping someone might know if the R34 GTR(NEO) Vspec, series ll, 2001 model carries the grey 14 pin Nissan DDL?? (consult port)

I have R34 NEO on my list of cars that my cables and software work with but it just seems too new???

Thanks Amaru, thats the info he gave me.....doesnt know his car very well by the sounds of it ....

What if we scrap the neo bit? Do you know the diagnostic system it runs?

all late model Nissans have a Consult Port so yes your R34 GTR will MOST DEFINATELY have it

Didn't the Consult port change in 1998(ish) from OBD1 to OBD2?

I didnt think the GTR was ever OBD2 compliant? This is why it was such a pain to import them into America (and Motorex had patented the compliance process to bring it up to OBD2 specs, which is why they were the only cars that could do them). Could be wrong, but pretty sure thats how it was.

I don't have any info I'm afraid, just regurgitating something I read elsewhere on SAU. I'm not even 100% on what the OBD acronym means.

OBD = On Board Diagnostic

OBD2 is only used in the US and is not a part of JDM Models.

Hence ALL Nissan's with the Consult Port are the same. Weather it be an R32 GTR or R34 GTR or S15 Silvia.
