Ooooh, be interesting to see how the next few races go! A very coo; thing is on the cusp of happening...crosses fingers

Is this still on the wheel size topic or something different Roy ?

C'mon !! Share !! :)

Well a Sierra has just been brought in which shoudl be running late this year...cant recall if it was an Eggenberger, Rouse, Niedzwiedz...cant remember, but its a genuine car out of Europe which has titles under its belt.

Also there is a possibility that a big name driver may be entering the series with the purchase of his own car :P

Way cool !! Sierra = screaming fast and then............POP !! :D

This other mystery person wouldn't happen to be Mr. Brock would it ? I beleive he was like a giddy school girl at the last meeting in Vic.......

Hell, the more the merrier !!

You could be right, you could be close, or you may need to think about who has driven similar cars to Brock, even teamed with Brock :D

Roy,

where is this Sierra that you speak of, and who has purchased it?

Not sure of the details...ill ask the question of the guy that mentioned it in passing. In the other thread one of the heads of the series posted...perhaps he can give the good oil on it?

This is from the owner of an RS500 in the UK...

"...I was at Donington last year for the RS500 reunion, the cars there with an Australian connection were the Moffat / Rouse '87 Bathurst pole car, the Rouse / Brock car which is owned by Steve Matthias who races in the UK Ford saloon car championship in an escort cosworth, and I was in my DJR sierra number DJR 1, this is the car that was second at Bathurst in '88 and sold to Robb Gravett for the '89 BTCC.

There was also a Texaco Eggenberger car which has a very good chance of racing in Australia at some point.

Andy Lloyd"

I cant wait for the circus to roll into Vic. Actually if my car is back on the road ill gladly drive to NSW as i dont think i can wait until Sandown in November

The '87 Rouse/Moffat sierra mentioned above is the car that has been recently brought back to Australia and is a chance of racing later this year (LOL...if things go to plan)

Obviously not cryptic enough.....

Hooks

Huh...lol doesnt what i said make sense?

LOL..it was a cut and a paste thats all. Essentially the '87 Rouse/Moffat Sierra is back in Aus and i hear is goign to be raced. And as for that other news i was excited about...i heard that young Jim Richards was keen to acquire an ex GMS car to start competing with...it will be interesting to see if it pans out.
