fsmout
yeah point taken, 2530's are great turbo's. i think at the moment is will stick with the big single because i cant afford to change. i can afford to fix the tune and engine management and squize in a little more boost. U dont think getting the boost to 15psi earlier will make a big difference? its only at 10psi at 5k? not sure if the intercooler will make a difference, possibly better response? FATGTS-R
You touched on earlier on what could well be a major cause of your problem,in the exhaust valve. Have you actually checked its operation to make sure its not sticking and causing a major exhaust restriction? Even better, drop the exhaust and do another run. BOVed
wonder what size the rear housing is, cos that boost curve looks very similar to mine with a 1.12 rear housing and a faulty WG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey craved howd you get your skyline badge to light up like that? is that standard? ive only had my line about two months and dosnt do that Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/103984-good-power-with-low-boost-standard-injectfmic/page/2/#findComment-1919789 Share on other sites
doommachine
Good point about the exhaust, I "modded" my exhaust, by basically sticking something in it filled with steel wool, until I can afford decent mufflers, and my 50 trim won't even spool. Well it does, 3 psi at 4000rpm, and not much more than that. Does the car feel a bit like it's holding back? Try a run through straight pipes and see how you go...
