Intial DriftR
Hello ALL, What is the reasonable price to pay for a R33 Series II 1996 Model with 80thou KMs on the clock, fairly straight????? Amaru
An un molested, straight, non accident damaged one will set you back at least $20,000 in my opinion. Series 1, and ones with molested engines, dodgy body work, severe accident damage thats been fixed up will be a bit cheaper. raz0r$harP.UK
You interested in one? I'm selling mine - $22,500. For what's included I think it's a fair price. I'm only three hours out of Canberra if you're interested Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/104027-question-r33-series-ii-1996-model/#findComment-1913544 Share on other sites
leech_
yea i guess its hard to say i know i wouldnt let mine go for anything less than like $22K (that is if i was sellling which i am not) but in saying that people get desperate if you find someone in a situation where they have to sell because they are going overseas or something you can get them for around $19K As Amaru said though you get what you pay for you can pick up a shitty one which you need to spend another coule of grand on fixing up or you can get a clean straight one for a bit more. Frink
it also depends where your buying it from. if its from a car yard, they'll charge through the roof for one. i saw them in sydney for $27,000!!! about $7000 too much. you might get lucky and find one privately for cheaper, but you'll need to look hard. anyone who's even half interested in skylines will know what they're worth..... maybe give ebay a try..... Links
& it's got a car bra.. anyways - yeah about 20K for a decent example.. anything less will have more k's.. more wear and tear.. maybe some accident damage.. very nice car trident.. seems like you put alot of work into it.. also - try and find a 40th anniversary model.. 1998 - last year of the R33.. there are a couple floating around, and getting a car that's 2 years newer doesn't hurt.. tridentt150v
So, for 20gees you get a stockie, for 30k u get a modded, for 40 you'd get a heavily modded or a stock 32GTR or a modded GTR with the guts flogged out of it. It's all relative................good find that link to the '97 Links. So Initial DriftR if a stockie gets 156 and I can get 242, it costs $128/kw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/104027-question-r33-series-ii-1996-model/#findComment-1921047 Share on other sites

oscar32
Again, my awesome R32 (which is in better nick than any R33 you'll buy for under 25ish) will save you money for even further mods, or even more power Hey Trident, awesome power figure. . I didn't know what you'd ended up with - mine has made 363 hp on the dyno (during a comp - extra octane) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/104027-question-r33-series-ii-1996-model/#findComment-1921791 Share on other sites
