It will be interesting to see what happens when Ferrari get a motivated top line driver back in one of their cars. I remember how much the other Kimi upset Senna when he turned up at McLaren all those years ago. Senna had grown a bit complacent from having a second rate team mate (Andretti in this instance) & he really had to pull his finger out in the last few races before he disappeared of to Williams.

^^^^^^ yep thats what makes 2007 look exiting...I hope Kimi clicks with Ferrari and he has a huge season and maybe Massa can stick with him. Im sure this will put the wind up the sooky la la Spaniard.

I still cant see Alonso settling in as well in his new seat.

And what are Renault thinking with their 2007 driver line up????? No world champs trophies going to Renault for some time.

I just wonder what Kimi's reaction will be if and when Ferrari insist he starts doing dodgy shit a la Schumacher. Ron Dennis is painfully even handed with his drivers and painfully fair in his dealings so such things may come as a bit of a shock to Kimi.

I don't rate Massa. That he can beat Schumacher reflects badly on the German, not well on the Brazillian.

Why wouldn't Alonso settle in at McLaren? He has consistantly shown he can handle the massive pressure he has been put under (Alot better than some others). His comments on Schumacher were very exacting - great driver - not great for a number of other reasons. Hardly whinging.

Look how well Mansell got on with them. And Ferrari for that matter. And Williams. And Lotus.

Actually, back in the day Rosberg got on alright. As did Lauda. Even de Cesaris.

That it didn't work out for Montoya probably says more about Montoya than McLaren. After all he didn't really get on at Williams, either.

Let's be honest if Ron Dennis can get on with someone as difficult as Ayrton Senna, he can surely get on with Alonso.

My guess is that Mclaren and alonso will get on like a house on fire... They both take the same attitudde towards racing and both demand perfection from themselves and the team. I predict a great future for two of them.

Ron loves Alonso and im sure he'll try to provide him with best... because if he doesnt and Alonso leaves, Mclaren will have no top tier drivers to replace him

Actually, because he is such a talentless hack he only has to do it once to show that Schumacher is no longer at the top of his game.

ok...

so if schumacher wins the title this year, it'll show alonso to be a talentless hack, because he couldnt beat MS who is apparently losing his touch....

      I think... in the US, Silvermax is the equivalent of BC Racing, i.e. cheap Taiwanese built suspension that gets turned for "local" conditions. Back in the day in Australia, you could get MCA street for about $1300 and they were awesome. Don't know about now... In saying that, my real world TEIN experience: I got some street basis z for my old Liberty (BR9), and they were awesome ($800-odd delivered from demon-tweeks in the UK). so Don't discount TEIN

      100% this. Long ago, I had a guy from the R31 club who set my BNR32 up (adjustable arms all round). He did an awesome job, was an after-work kinda thing where I had to bring a slab of beer. My car never drove better, and I stupidly got a random tyre shop to check the toe angles when I changed tyres, and they ruined the alignment. tl:dr- it takes a lot of skill to set up your car lowered from factory properly, and is worth paying the $200+ it takes.

      @Duncan a meter will read continuity, so long as resistance is below a certain threshold.   For example, on a headlight globe, you'll probably manage to get your MM to beep for continuity.   I always go with measuring resistance.   I've had some digital Multimeters beep continuity even with a 100ohm load.   Now as for that wire that should be undamaged earthing out... I really really don't want to say it, as I hope it's not the case... Do you happen to have any evidence of mice/rats around?
