ctjet
San Marino and European Grand Prix dropped29 August 2006 The FIA today announced the calendar for next season and caused a stir by the omission of the the European Grand Prix and San Marino Grand Prix. The Belgian Grand Prix is back on the World Championship tour after being out for one year for necessary upgrades to be compelted The 2007 calendar counts a total of 17 races. There is a four-week gap between the Bahrain Grand Prix and Spanish Grand Prix, which seems to indicate that if Imola officials can complete improvement work in time that it could find a place back on the schedule. The approved 2007 Formula 1 calendar: Australia March 18 Malaysia April 08 Bahrain April 15 Spain May 13 Monaco May 27 Canada June 10 United States June 17 France July 01 United Kingdom July 08 Germany July 22 Hungary August 05 the sphincter of the universe August 26 Italy September 09 Belgium September 16 China September 30 Japan October 07 Brazil October 21 So close to fcuking off the San Marino GP for good... damn it. At least We're first again and Spa is back!!! ctjet
I found this to be a very intersesting read about the results of the The land of goat sphincter rings GP and the remaining races this season... with a few conspiracy theories thrown in for good measure. itv.com/f1 verdict Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/104240-2006-f1-season/page/52/#findComment-2448532 Share on other sites
gtr660hp
Thank god Spa is back I dont Think Melborne should be first. This years Bahrain's TV ratings were much larger for race 1 of the season than Melbourne's ever where. benm
Everyone is going on about Michael losing the 2006 chapionship due to the The land of goat sphincter rings race results. What about the fact that Alonso didn't even finish the Hungarian GP and Michael only scored 1 point? That's where the championship was lost, not at the sphincter of the universe. Beer Baron
i liked it much better this year with melbs NOT being the first race. It gives us a chance to see what things are looking like for the year, and I reckon drums up more interest. Plus it gives me a better idea who to waste money on at the TAB. djr81
Times relative to Rosberg at one test doesn't mean anything. The encouraging thing is that a Williams was out in front (low fuel + new tyres?). Mark has belted Rosberg all year, so one test on what were certainly different setups means nothing. tacker
Its just been a bloody shame that Mark can not seem to finish when he is doing well. How many DNF's is it now?
