Alarm/immobiliser In Sydney?

Who/where is a good place to purchase and have an alarm and immobiliser installed in Sydney? Preferably south/west?

Also, i've been reading a bit about the alarms/immobilisers that people have here, that they automatically go on after 30 seconds of inacitivity. If this is the case... how on earth do you do anything with the car? ie clean it, work on it, leave it somewhere for say a sound system to be installed? Or does it stay off once u turn it off with the remote after it automatically arms? Sorry very much a noob.

You have to arm the alarm yourself...

The immobilisor kicks in 30 secs after the engine is shut down...

So you can do whatever you want with the car till you arm the alarm.

Yeah thats great. Anyway, can someone recommend a good installer in sydney? Basically i want something very similiar to what Chris provides in Brisbane.

www.autowatch.com.au alarms are great! If you call, they'll give you the number of one of their installers close to you. My guy was good, and did a neat, clean job.

I'm still looking now and then to see where in heck he put the damn thing! Talk about well-hidden!
