Breather Pipes On Top Of The Cam Covers

Does anyone know how to remove the breather pipes on top of the cam covers?

I am sending the covers in for croming, and they could not crome it with these on.

Noooo don't cut them off, they should twist out fine. Maybe get a piece of metal rod that is a good fit inside the breather pipe and gently twist it and it will pop out.

ooo... i've learnt something new for the day already.

I bashed mine out from the inside of the cover, stuck a suitable sized rod/head of bolt into the inside of the breather outlet, and smacked it out with a hammer..

don't this without lots of care if you don't want to reuse the outlet tho, i just had dash ten fittings welded to mine, so damaging them wasn't of much concern

They are just pressed in, take them out and chrome them too then repress them back in .
