Pulling Apart Turbo

i bought a hiflow turbo

is there a correct way of pulling apart a r33 turbo

just i think i need new bearings, so was going to see if i can do it myself

any advice be appreciated

The stock turbos are throw aways imo.

If the bearings are gone you have probably shaved a bit off the comp wheel or the turbine which would leave it imbalanced which will inevitably cause the destruction again.

yeah i'm with slide, as it rotates at such speed, you need to have it balanced well or its just gonna self-destuct, maybe next time doing more damage.

I'd say get it highflowed or rebuilt by pro's, failing that buy a working second hand one for a couple of hundred.

definetly get it done by a pro cause it defently will need balancing.
