Well I had a heap of fun, and I hope you all did too! There were about 3 people that came without RC's because they'd broken them... oh well! Next time!

Everyone seemed pretty happy with the location, even though it was a bit of a drive for some. It is out of the way, noone complains, and noone will ask us to move on.

This, and qwux has a small supply of track-making equipment (along with my newfound collection of nursery plant pots), which makes it much better than just freestyle drifting.

Someone took photos, so i'm sure they will put them up, and the video will be up in a little while! (on the SRCD forums)

Future RC drifting will be announced on the SRCD forums, and not on SAU, so be sure to sign up if you're keen for the next one!

Yeah, this meet was very good I must say... nice to see members organizing stuff outside of the usual circle of things ;)

Sorry I couldn't stay, as mentioned, just started a new business and had to attend to that. Will make more of an effort for the next meet :(

OK; after going to this meet and speaking with a few mates I've decided to invest some pennies in a new RC car ;)

HPI RS4 Evo3 - Base Car

Stage D Kit - Turns Base Car into Drift King

I can't believe I'm going to spend $800 on a toy!

Disappointed... went into Hobbyco in the city and told them I wanted not 1 but 3 of the same kits! They said they sold out about 2 weeks ago!!!

And get this, to bring them in from the states, it's going to cost me $150 more each!!!! f**k THAT!

Damn Americans and their expensive overatted products! But you guys have to go watch that video on their site, it'll make anyone want this toy car!

good day. great fun

dingo again sorry bout your car, but remeber i wasnt driving it then.

hahahah I dont blame anyone but me for the crash. My cars a p.o.s anyhow. Next event ill just put maccas trays under the rear wheels of the charade

Try Rc hobbies on Parra road at Petersham. They stock alot of HPI stuff and are a bit cheaper that HobbyCo. Or just order direct from their site www.rchobbies.com.au.

Guys, yes, we still do meets, and it's all organised on the SRCD forums:

http://srandy.com:82

That URL is temporary until the proper domain name is usable.

Meets, and RC drift discussion happens here.

We were in Bankstown two weeks ago!

Next meet will probably be on the Northern Beaches, then somewhere halfway between Bankstown and the NB.

We're also looking at doing an event at Windsor RC track, and possibly entering in this years AutoSalon RC drift.
