Break Warning Light

not sure if its supposed to be in here or elsewhere, and yes i have searched

my boot spoiler has the warning break light, and im wanting to to take it off, do i need to replace it with the ones that are on the rear window??? or can i just go without it??? silly question but thought id ask... thanks

I'm pretty certain that you must retain some form of "eye-level" brake light if the car was complied with it fitted. But it doesn't have to remain on the rear wing; you could change it to the "inside-the-rear-window" type if you wanted to.

yeah its a "high mounted brake light" on all the new cars it has them. part of ur compliance says that u gotta have one. If u take ur wing off cops wont pull u over for it but u really "legally" gotta have it. but meh whatever

Yeah when mine went thru regency it had to have a top mounted brake light.Cause of the stealth wing replacing the stocker with brake light.

You can get them from just about any car parts store.Mine is a coupe so it has a coupe window so it will need a coupe brake light.there are others for the different range of cars.
