Arial Speed Detection

Would somebody be able to tell me how the police use there Arial Patrol helicopter in Victoria . Like can they detect your speed by radar then send you a fine in the Mail?? or do they have to have a squad car on the ground to pull you over.

There are makred lines on the ground, you probably dont notice them.

they are a set distance, all they need to do is time you and they get your speed.

Its not radar based, doesnt need to be.

yep, in the past 2 months there have been 5 new redlight/speed cameras installed in my area.

Thats a spam of 5km's.

I can't fathom it.. Obviously speed cameras do not work, and yet they keep trotting out more and more, and more and more stupid tactics. Bracks needs to stop shoving his head up his ass and blowing.
