If they are going to measure your car's height, which say is 10cm's.

its from the lowest point in the car, mostly on skylines its the exhaust pipe

how it works is that they place an L shaped peice of metal underneath the car and run it along the bottom of the car, if it hits anything at the bottom of the car you have to raise it

I think the rule is that the lowest structural part of the car has to be 100mm off the ground. So stuff like chassis rails.

haha if they measured by where the headlights sit, then all owners of 4x4's would have to seriously dump their cars!

QLD is lowest point on car, eg. body kit, front lip, exhaust, 'the lowest point!'

NSW I believe is structural point, eg if you have skirts they will not be taken into consideration etc.

in NSW, i was also told by a sargeant that its the lowest part of your car. if it hits anything, you have to raise it
