Comming straight from the under ground young African American got his badge cause i'm brown.....

Anyway here is the stroy;

Met up with my mate at his house deciede to meet up with other friends at there place but my friend had left his wallet at the gym. So we decieded to drive to our mates place drop off one of the cars and go pick up the wallet.

So i am following my friend in the backstreets and i lost him but i sorta knew where i was so i putted around until i got somewhere i recognised. Just cruising down the street and i see a car behind me i think nothing of it.

Turn down my friends street which is a dead end and the car follows which i thought was abit strange as it not a very busy road etc the as i do a U turn to park out the front of my friends house they do one as well at this point i was 80% sure it was cops.

So i pull up and so does the car behind i look in the mirror and i see the cops get out and walk upto my car so get out (2 chicks i would hit it but would require a bag).

PIG: you realise you where going 80km/h back there and its a 60 or 50 zone (was complete bs i was lost i was going slow to find where i was)

ME: Umm was i ?? i was concertating on the road

PIG: do you always drive like that

ME: no, you can't really feel the speed in this car

PIG: You realise we had to do 100km/h to catch up to you

Me: umm yeah and.....

PIG: so babak have you been a bad boy lost any points..

ME: yeah a few

PIG: takes my license and goes checks it out whilst the other pig harrases my friend.

Then she gives my license back and says nothing and doesn't write a fine and with my driving history i was stoked :)

After all this takes place my mate takes his car down my mates driveway its about 30m long and i waited up the top as he said hello to everyone etc. The cops waited there the entire time 10-15min until we got into my car to go pick up my friends wallet.

They followed us the entire way the sat right on my ass changed lanes when i changed for 15min until i took a sneaky last minute short cut via the shopping centre and lost them :D i'm sure that pissed them off :shake:

And then to top of the night my friend backs into my car and i hit an owl.

IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH THAT I GET TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL FOR BEING A YOUNG MALE DRIVING A SPORTS CAR !!!

I don't hate all cops i've meet some nice ones but god some of them are farked.

Cliff notes: Got harrased from cops for doing nothing then followed - friend backed into my car and i seriously hurt some native wild life.

You were following your friend through backstreets, but he managed to lose you??? :D So in other words, he was fanging it through the backstreets at speeds above the posted speed limit.

Now I realise that you may not have been speeding, but it definitely sounds like your friend was. Your friend was lucky that you held them up, and they couldn't pull over the real person they wanted to, hence they didn't give you a ticket.

I hate to preach on about this, and take the "Police's side", but this isn't harrassment. Your friend (and I suspect you in an attempt to follow him) were speeding, and they had a valid reason for pulling you over, and give you a spanking :) :uh-huh:

    • I recently got their dbw 74mm throttle body and pedal kit. It is sensational quality especially the wiring harnesses. Unfortunately I can’t answer u about the fitment to stock inlet manifold as I’m going Rahjab Racing forward plenum. Only one thing to be careful of is understand u have to pay gst and import fees if your purchase is over $1,000 in one shipment.
    • yeah i agree paint match stops it from standing out so much, oh that's actually really good to know i was wondering if it would help with air flow now actually having an outlet in the bonnet. Will have to focus on ducting into and out of the radiator now to make the most of it.
    • I would paint match the whole thing to avoid unwanted attention  I had a similar bonnet, paint matched, on my old R33 GTST, but mine was a fibreglass jobbie made by Blitz in QLD, they work extremely well for radiator efficiency and under bonnet temps
    • Does anyone run this kit with factory plenum? Does the adapter and bosch tb fit under factory strut brace? I wanted to get this setup before going forward facing manifold. Thanks
    • small update time, after always wanting a "cool" looking bonnet for my car and always struggling to find one for the series 2 that i liked and wasn't an insane amount of money. Saw one i liked on RHDjapan from D-speed in Japan the price was very good for a carbon bonnet so good infact i was a little unsure how much i trusted it, decided to bite the bullet and with the help of jesse streeter in not long at all it was at my door. Once it was delivered i ran in from work and quickly unboxed it and to my surprise the quality was actually pretty good i quickly removed the old bonnet and placed on the new one to test it out and even the fitment wasnt too bad at all. Then decided to paint the little grille in the bonnet black to stop it sticking out so much.   I decided to not mess around with the hood latch and just install some aero catch hood pins, having never installed them before did some YouTube university classes and i was good to go. fair to say it is not a fun job at all from making brackets so the pins sit nicely and actually cutting through the bonnet but also being very scared of cutting the holes too big it took wayyyy longer than i would like to admit but finally got it there. Then it was time for a quick test drive to ensure the latches actually worked and thankfully the bonnet looked very stable. I still think paint matching the bonnet and leaving just the part that sticks up as carbon would help make it all look alot neater as im not sure how i feel about all that carbon on a very fridge white car but will leave it as is and see how i feel with time.
