Fuel Pump?......

Hey guys, ive just got the std basic mods in place now, being a 3" zorst, fmic and pod filter(soon to have a cold air intake), im running close to 9-10psi, and car seems to be running well. I'd like to know whether it'd be better off investing on a fuel pump now before getting it tuned or afc'd?

im after reliability at this stage as i cnt afford to have any problems, i mite crank the boost down soon as well.

What kind of pump would flow well for my magic 250-300 rwkw goal?as im thinkin its maxing its efficiency right now, how can you tell this anyhow?anything else i should do at this stage to keep it running nicely?

increase in boost and reliability don't go hand in hand.......you either sacrifice reliability by increasing boost (maxing it out) or you decrease boost to last longer.

what is your power goal, decide this before randomly chooing parts

is the exhaust 3" turbo back or 3" catback

exhaust is 3" CATBACK (down pipe on the way), i understand that 250rwkw is a big no to aim for let aside 300rwkw, but im hoping to do the mods so as they come i wnt run into heaps of hurdles cause of some parts not being up to the job. So for instance, maybe going for a bigger fuel pump then having the car tuned?

well you can't tune the stock ecu so thats pointless. fuel pump wont add any power so it doesn't need to be tuned. your next step is a piggyback ecu or stand alone ecu (apexi powerfc)

thanks, how much power before the stock fuel pump starts to run out of the efficiency range mate?

According to Bosch they support 520 bhp at 73.5 PSI.
