I'll probably get a PRofec B-Spec II when I upgrade to a PFC so I can control the boost. Are they hard to install at all? I have a boost guage in my car and theres a pressure hose running from it to....somewhere (sorry I am a bit new to pressure hoses and where they go).

If its easy, would it be ok to install myself or get the workshop to do it when the PFC is being tuned?, shouldn't cost much to install, right!

cheers

Tom

East to install. There are a few threads in the tutorials/DIY section on install boost gauges and the Profec controller

Greddy Profec : Here

Boost Gauge : Here

Did you even do a search before posting!?!

with the pfc u'd have to buy a seperate  apexi boost controller (made to plug into the pfc)

and from reports I've heard, I'd say the PRofec B-Spec II  is a much better option

so the PFC hand controller itself doesn't control boost?

its a seperate unit u'd need to purchase. once its plugged into the pfc... the handcontroller then controls the apexi ebc through that

The Boost Control Kit is an optional kit designed to control boost through the Power FC. Simple connection to the Power FC allows the user to access a full self-learning boost controller. The Power FC allows up to 4 different boost presets for any stage of driving. The high grade solenoid valve is the same one used in our Super AVC-R boost controller. As with the S-AVCR, the Boost control kit allows increased boost response and boost stability at high RPM's
