Just wondering if its possible (and practical) to make the passenger side window auto up/down same as the drivers?

Surely someone out there has done this

Thats not a bad idea at all, i to would like to know if it can be done..

I was looking into it ages ago... From what i've read, it's a case of wiring up a new relay, one that switches off under a certain amount of resistance. That, or a secondary piece of electronics that will shut power off to the motor when it detects more resistance.

Sounds like a messy trial-and-error thing with lots of splicing into wiring looms etc. =-[

yeah if its a case of cutting and splicing ill live with the non auto window

i hate too much hassle, plus id get half way through it then stop cause something always comes up, then have no door trim for ages cause i wouldnt get around to fixing it anytime soon

LOL! I do the same damn thing! I stop and say "oh, I need another part" and then i'm back on shift and have to work. =-[

wouldnt it just be easier to get the mechanisms from a driver side door (ie. off someone who's bought a front cut.
