Hi all,

Just wandering if anyone here has fitted a SI 400R Front bar to an SII? If so can you help please, I got the front bar from Dr_Drift but I can't seem to get the darn thing on straight, does the SII have a different internal brace than the SI, I think this is the main problem, did anyone experience this, if so what did you do to fix it? can you post some pics? thanks for any help you guys can give.

oh and if I've posted this in the wrong section please me it.....

cheers,

Des.

The series 1 headlights line up different to the series 2 lights also, you will never get it to fit correctly if it is the wrong bumper ... we have a 400R mould for a series 2 if anyone needs a copy, priced at around $400.

mate i been there. i tried GTR bar didnt work and also 400r and it didnt fit and also nismo style something or other and it didnt fit. the sII is alot squarer in the front and the reinforcement is different the sII is more like the gtr and the shape is way off.

I had to get a custom top on mine but it worked out okay in the end. cos sii bar in perth is very hard to find.

great..... so what you're saying J-spec is that even if I fit the s1 brace onto my s2 the lights don't line up. How much does the lights don't line up? Is it like seriously noticeable? my other option is if you want to swap bars.... though I'd be seriously out of pocket since I had it painted already...

thats spot on mate the series 2 lights will have a gap in front of them so if you hovered above the car you would be able to see a gap between the headlight and the bumper and the part of the bumper that fits under the headlight will stick out.

Find series II front bar. plenty ppl looking for series 1 bars advertise in the for sale man, or go to hmm who is in adelaide... i dunno adelaide but someone must be able to custom this thing for you?
