Oil Temp Wif Oil Cooler.

Hi guys my r34 gtr v-spec 2 oil and water temps were hitting ard the high 90 deg C under normal driving on a 30-40 deg C day. I read fr other posts that temps anywhere under 120deg C is ok. But to be on the safe side, i installed a HKS oil cooler recently. My oil temp is now ard 85deg C and if i push the car harder, it sits ard 92-95 deg C. Water temp sits ard 85-95 deg C. Some of my mates told me with the oil coolers, oil temp shud be ard 75-85 deg C. Is mine a little high? Oh ya, i'm using Q8 oil. Think is mobil or HKS.

There is nothing wrong with those temps.

I think you will find that the mfd reads a little higher than actual temp ( about 3 degrees i find .

95 degree oil temp on a 40 degree day and you are concerned, if you drive it hard it will hit at least 110.
