Hard to get 1st-2nd

Hey just wondering if anyone can tell me why it is difficult to get 1st-2nd on hard launches. Changing slowly is ok but to quick and it can be a real pain. Thankyou and solutions would be good.

have you tried changing your gearbox fluid??

a lot of Nissan RWD cars can be hard to get into 2nd - generally speaking a change to some good oil in the box will smooth it out.

Do a search on the maitenence/performance section for "Redline Shockproof Gearbox Oil'

Its an absolute must have for any GTS-T.

Im still trying to get my hands on some.

benm, did you try CRD at silverwater, got mine there a few weeks ago.

Sorry, I forgot to ask, is it upchange or downchange where you are having problems. On downshift, make sure you match the revs before you let the clutch out. Heavy duty gearboxes appreciate double-clutching.
