100,000k Service

Hey guys i just purchased a skyline gtst r33. Its sitting on 97,000 kz. I have a fair idea on what to do in a service, i am a mechanic, but i am wondering what types of oils do you people use and belts when doing the car. I am going to use a nismo timing belt with a gen nissan drive belt and a gen nissan rocker cover gasket. But i want to know what oils and what viscosity you use.

Lots of discussion about these topics in the forums.

For diff and transmission search for redline and you'll get heaps of stuff.

For engine oil theres a thread in general maintenance titled "The goods on oils."

For other lubricants (joints etc) you'd probably have to consult a maintenance manual, http://www.jpnz.co.nz/ complained to the admins about their manuals being available for free. Might want to try them.

Motul Turbolight.. GTX3 are my recomendations..

'Gates' Also very high quality belts..

Redline for box and Castrol LSX90 for the diff

Motul Turbolight 4100 is 10w40 http://www.motul.com.au/product_line_up/4s.../4stroke15.html and

Redline Diff oil is Red Line '75W90' Gear Oil

And Manual Gearbox oil is MTL or Superlight Shock

I hope this helps, from the info I was given these oils are common with skyline drivers.
