How Do I Install A Turbo?

Hey I have decided to upgrade to an t4 turbo and Im planning to get a 50mm wastegate enternal. What else do I need? What are the steps? Should I take the risk and do it my self or should I pay money for the professionals? Would my car lag with a bigger turbo if Im using the stock cooler?

If your gonna spend the money on all the parts, might as well make sure there installed and working 100%

yeah but they charge to much to install. How much does it cost?

just pay a pro to do it... at least u'll get a warranty like that

Also, U wont be able to run much boost with a stock cooler, its no good for much over stock boost. u will need a fmic to use the bigger turbo

its pointless installing an ex gate t4 on a stock car setup, you need a fair few supporting modifications. all you will get is stacks more lag and excess airflow cut when boost omes on

, if ya can get ur mech to do it and have a peek at him working, i try get down and help with work on my car whenever i can its a great way to learn

there is around $5000-$7000 worth of stuff you need before you even start.

You sound like you dont know a lot, and by using a t04 this is a dead give away.

best bet is to go and talk with a proper performance workshop
