93 Gtr Steering Wheel Into 89 Gts-t

I'm replacing my steering wheel in my '89 HCR32 Type-M. Was there any difference to the backs in regards to HICAS between GTS-t's & GTR's? Differences early R32 to late R32?

I don't want to pick up a new steering wheel if I can't fit it or the HICAS plays up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, for anyone who is interested, I found that there are different positions for the HICAS lugs between a 93 GTR & 89 GTS-t. The lugs on 89 are located at 12 & 6 o'clock where as on the 93 they are around the 2 & 8 positions.

In other words the wheel when fitted will be about 30deg off centre.

if you have no hicas, or if hicas is disabled somehow (no hicas fluid or lock bar) will the steering wheel still be off centre?
