Rs4s Clutch Assy

Would it be possible for someone with an RS4S to take some pics of the clutch setup eg: pedal mounting and master cylinder?

Master cylinder is the same as R33 GTST without the GTR vacuum booster.

Not sure about pedals.

I inspected Ian's S2S before deciding on the conversion

Also, does the auto Stagea have this bracket which holds the clutch pedal?

This picture is a Nismo R33 GTST one

or do we need to fit one of these aswell to hold the clutch pedal

that bracket looks like a a non-booster setup clutch pedal box, as the 2 studs out the end would go through the firewall and the master cylinder bolts onto that.

i got pics of my setup with the booster on if u want, but not the non-booster setup.

The foot/hand brake assy will have to be removed, and somthing similar to the picture shown above installed with a pedal.

The foot/hand brake bracket is nothing like the clutch pedal assy.

I am certain that another way to go about it is to use the RS4S pedal set, GTST master/slave and GTR box. Would save a lot of time, but you would need the RS4S pedal box (but it saves removing the engine to convert it)

That was my original idea, but would have to buy a new one, if the R33 GTST pedal fits with minor mods it would probly be alot cheaper and easy to get.

AFAIK, cant really see the clutch pedal box too easy as things like the streering column etc get in the way....well...when i was poking around.

Let us know though

If you want, guys, I'll try and email the previous owner of my car, and see what parts he used in the conversion - if I remember correctly he said that this car (the one I bought off him) was the second one he'd done a conversion on - the first one was also a conversion to RB26DETT...

You might be able to find details on the cars in the forums somewhere, when I get a chance I'll have a look for them too. His username was "Argo."
